Use Warning Page mode, not Banner. With Banner, the site loads behind the warning strip you could accidentally interact with a harmful page before reading the warning.
Turn on "Show warning for new domains." Without it, warnings for newly registered sites will not appear.
Keep the threshold at 365 days for the broadest protection. Lowering it reduces warnings but also reduces how many risky new sites get flagged.

If a Download Blocked warning appears and you did not click a download link, click Close. Automatic downloads you did not request are a common way to install malware.
When whitelisting, choose Full Domain, not Root Domain. Root Domain trusts every subdomain automatically, which may include addresses you have not checked.
If you see "Unable to verify domain age" warning and are not sure about the site, use Open in Sandbox to preview it safely rather than visiting it directly.
