CyberCheck360 Link Inspector (Browser Extension)

FAQ

Does the extension slow down my browsing? No. For safe sites it runs quickly in the background with no delay. For sites that need a closer look, the check happens before the page loads and takes only a moment.

What types of threats does it protect against? CyberCheck360 protects against four things: sites on known-dangerous lists, recently registered domains that could be scams, phishing pages impersonating trusted brands, and automatic file downloads triggered without your action.

What is the difference between ⚠️ Caution and ⛔ Unsafe? Caution means the site is newly registered but not confirmed dangerous. Unsafe means the site is positively listed as dangerous by CyberCheck360. Unsafe is the higher-risk verdict of the two.

What does the Domain Age Unknown(Caution/Unsafe) verdict mean? It means CyberCheck360 could not check how old the domain is, and the site is not on any known-dangerous list. It is not a confirmed threat. Use Open in Sandbox if you want to check the site safely before deciding.

Why does the popup say "Caution" but the warning page says "Suspicious"? They mean the same thing the site is newly registered and not confirmed dangerous. The popup uses Caution and the full-screen warning page uses Suspicious, but both describe the same verdict.

What is the difference between Full Domain and Root Domain when whitelisting? Full Domain trusts only the exact site you are on. Root Domain trusts that site and everything else hosted under the same domain. We recommend Full Domain so that you only trust exactly what you have checked.

I got a Download Blocked warning. What should I do? If you did not click a download link on that page, click Close the download was triggered automatically without your action, which is a warning sign. Only click Download Anyway if you are certain you started the download yourself from a site you trust.

What is the difference between Pause and Disable? Pause (10, 20, or 60 minutes) stops checking temporarily and restarts automatically when the time is up. You can also click ▶ Resume to bring it back earlier. Disable turns it off with no timer — you have to turn it back on yourself.

Do I need to create an account to use this? No. The CyberCheck360 Link Inspector is free and works immediately after installation with no sign-in required.

What is the default domain age threshold? 365 days. You can change it in Settings by clicking Edit next to the domain age label.

How do I report a wrong verdict? Email support@cybercheck360.com with the website URL, the verdict shown, and the domain age displayed in the popup.
