Overview
Every time you open a website, CyberCheck360 Link Inspection Extension quietly checks it in the background. If anything looks risky, it shows you a warning before you can be affected. There is nothing you need to do, it works automatically.
CyberCheck360 checks for four types of threats:
1. Newly Registered Domains Very new websites are more likely to be scams or phishing pages. CyberCheck360 checks how old the website's domain is. If it was registered recently (within your configured threshold, default: 365 days), you get a warning.
2. Known Malicious Sites CyberCheck360 checks every URL and domain against a database of known dangerous sites. If the site appears in that database, you get an ⛔ Unsafe warning immediately regardless of how old the domain is.
3. Phishing Pages Some websites pretend to be a well-known brand (like a bank or a security company) but are actually hosted on a completely different, unrelated domain. CyberCheck360 detects this mismatch and shows a Phishing Attempt Blocked warning, showing you exactly what the site is claiming to be versus where it is actually hosted.
