Troubleshooting
8.1 Extension Not Loading
Symptoms: The CyberCheck360 icon is missing from the toolbar, or the popup does not open.
- Open the browser extension manager and make sure CyberCheck360 is turned On.
- Chrome:
chrome://extensions - Firefox: Menu (☰) → Add-ons and Themes
- Chrome:
- Pin the icon to the toolbar so it stays visible (Chrome: puzzle-piece icon → pin; Firefox: Customise Toolbar).
- Try turning the extension off and back on in the manager.
- If it still does not work, uninstall and reinstall it from the store.
- Make sure your browser is up to date.
8.2 Warnings Not Appearing
Symptoms: You visit a new or suspicious site but nothing happens.
- Open the popup and check the PAUSE row. If a countdown is running, wait for it to end or click ▶ Resume. If it shows Disabled, click Enable.
- Go to Settings and check that Show warning for new domains is turned On. It is off by default.
- Check the Domain Age Threshold in Settings. If it is set very low, sites above that age will not trigger a warning.
- Check whether the site is on your Whitelist (Settings → Manage Whitelist). Remove it if needed.
- Right-click the page and select Scan Page from the CyberCheck360 menu, or click Scan Page in the popup's Site Controls
- If no result appears, wait a few seconds and try Scan Page again.
8.3 Sandbox Not Opening
Symptoms: Clicking Open in Sandbox does not load the sandbox page.
- Check your internet connection.
- Make sure your browser is not blocking pop-ups from
cybercheck360.com. - Temporarily turn off any ad-blockers or content blockers and try again.
- Open the sandbox directly: https://cybercheck360.com/url-sandbox/
- Clear your browser cache and cookies for
cybercheck360.comand reload. - If the problem continues, email support@cybercheck360.com with your browser version and a description of what happened.
